Top Growth and B2B Tools for Prospecting and Selling

There are 3 different tools I use in my scraping skillset from time required, 2 min to 20 min to a few days, to level of sophistication of the website involved.

1. Instant data scraper, the Pokeball chrome extension. It can scrape both infinite scroll pagination as well as tabbed pagination

   1. Average time (5 min to scrape 1000 rows and put into a csv)

2. Web scraper chrome extension. Sometimes I need to deep scrape and navigate into specific links to extract more data.

   1. There is a setup time needed to automate this process, but it takes roughly 10-15 minutes for me to setup and I can extract 500-1000 rows

      1. Data scraped:

         1. 500 founders from YC W23 and S24

         2. Hermes Product Lists

3. Scripts using Puppeteer or fetch requests. When the two methods above don't work such as inputting text into search fields or there are more sophisticated guardrails, I write scripts in typescript to extract data and store them in sqlite3

      2. Wilhelmina models
